Starring: Heathcote Williams, Karl Johnson, Toyah Wilcox, Peter Bull, Richard Warwick, Elizabeth Welch, Jack Burkett The Duke of Milan, Prospero, and his daughter Miranda have been banished to a remote island by the Duke's evil brother, Antonio. Twelve years later Antonio and his companions are shipwrecked on the same island by Prospero, whose aim is to marry his daughter to Ferdinand, son of the King of Naples and thus bring peace between his former Dukedom and the Kingdom of Naples. In Jarman's adaptation, the style is based on the punk era, with haunting and erotic imagery.
